Dull eyes stared into the reflection of the lake but there was no soul behind them
The dead lifeless look of them was worrisome but the owner of such dreaded eyes insisted that they were fine, they felt nothing and everything is what it is, no point in worrying about something you can't change.
Looking into such eyes was like replaying your worst nightmare in a bottomless pit.
Can a person have a soul behind those stone-cold eyes with icy storms behind them?
What made such a person so lifeless and dull?
It's like they're their own antagonist of their own story.
Was the storyline so painful that they lost every glimmer of hope and happiness?
It's like the mere darkness settled deep within those dark irises was the beginning of a
a deadly storm that would destroy everything that came in its wake
loneliness and misery seems to be the only things that swim in those dull eyes
Droopy and intimidating they come across, the most unfriendly thing of them all
Misunderstood and broken were the dull white specks that glisten in those eyes
They say your eyes tell a story but such a heartbreaking tale unravels in the darkness of those eyes...
As cliche as this sounds... you are stronger than you think. You just have to make your life worthwhile and stop allowing people to have the power to take away your happiness. Make peace with yourself and drop the dead weight that hold you back <3
