Love is the most thrown around word there is. You don't actually mean it but you say it. But why? What is love? How do you know when you love someone? Have you actually experienced love? Are you just blinded by dreams and false hope?
They like to say you would take bullets for a person you love but when it actually comes to that moment, would you?
When you experience heartbreak, is it the hope that you'll experience the eliteness that is love slowly breaking away instead of your heart feeling like it's being torn out of you?
If the " love " you say you expired is real, why is there so many heartbreak songs?
Why will one say they love someone but compromise the relationship they have with them?
Love is having an unbreakable bond with someone who truly cares for you. Love is doing anything to make the person you love happy. Love is when one is starving but gives the one they love their food. Love is one being so careful not to hurt the one they love.
Love is one being able to express themselves with the one they love and not being afraid to do that, are being afraid they'll get judged. Loving someone is acknowledging all the sacrifices one has done for you and appreciating it.
Love is not regretting loving.
Love is being able to entrust your life in the hands of the person that says they love you.
Love should not be breakable and should last through thick and thin, true love is everlasting and blissful but effort is needed to keep it glowing and growing.
Someone who loves you will not take everything from you and leave you out in the cold. Someone who loves you will help you to better yourself and not change you for their own benefit & selfish reasons and they will help you through your rough patches.
Love is not toxic and should not be tossed around like it's nothing. Love cannot be bought nor forced, but be ignited by the strong feelings of passion one has for another.
Love is not selfish but selfless.
