Hello wonderful people of the internet, today’s post is going to be a poem. I wrote this like Tuesday or like i guess you could say Wednesday cause i wrote it like literally around 12 A. M like i was going to sleep and i guess my creative juices were flowing i guess you could say. ( don’t repost this anywhere and if you’re going to be a stubborn chicken give me credit ) anywayyyss enjoy and tell me what you think in the comments.
THE BLUES AND DARKNESS
The dark blues in the depths of the oceans The light faded blues of the skies above The overwhelming darkness that lurks in every corner There is good in the world but it is overpowered by the bad There are people who constantly try to change it but not everyone cares in fact no one cares
You cry alone, you sleep alone you eat alone , you are alone No one seems to appreciate you or notice the small things you do You are hesitant to trust people for the fear they are false and will backstab you
The girl that sits alone in the back of the room Numb to all the things the bullies do She has no light in her eyes And they are as dark as the night sky, just without the stars or as when you close your eyes For she is cold and alone void of all emotions
Nothing you do can hurt as much as the trauma she’s been through So you can try to break her but you can’t break what’s already broken
Isn’t it tiring, trying to please everyone, being polite to the people that try to tear you down, living the lies, fighting the rumors and misconceptions
Everyone has darkness looking over them but some have even darker darkness Sometimes you get away Sometimes you are stuck in your head and that is the true nightmare, the worst of them all
You want to be free From all that is in the world To feel eternal happiness without a care or worry But you can’t because it is not that the world is a cruel place but the people living in it.
