Society and it’s Bullshit

Hey Besties. Today our topic of interest is Society. Now, this could be really short or pretty long based on if I remember all my problems with society. Now buckle up and let’s dive into this one. And as always have an awesome day. < Podcast episode at the end < _ > >

So like what is Society? According to Wikipedia, A society is a group of individuals involved in persistent social interaction, or a large social group sharing the same spatial < idk what that word is > or social territory, typically subject to the same political authority and dominant cultural expectations. And that’s there is exactly why I dislike it. I like to call it a cult because it becomes dangerous when you don’t agree with them.

People looking at things only one way is why we can’t have world peace. < In my opinion, and people not minding their own business doesn’t help> Some people will always go with the flow, follow the crowd, not object to some things the general public does because their afraid of not fitting in, and when you’re not the standard or abnormal people will go out of their way to make you feel bad, tear you down or inflict harm on you.

People hide their real selves because they want to be accepted. Validation is a hell of a thing. To receive validation from people, will make lots go out of their way to do things they don’t want to. And if you decide to say fuck you to the social norms then people will treat you differently, some are just jealous because they themselves don’t have the courage to reject Society and its standard and all the other crap that relates to it.

Can we just throw stereotypes in the garbage where it belongs? There is no need to put people in boxes and categories, we aren’t books in a library. Why can’t we just live without being judged or looked at differently if they do something that the public doesn’t agree with? I think being called weird < to an extent like if you’re the creepy weird then JAIL!!! > is a compliment, I take it as you’re don’t think one way and is able to see a bigger picture or look past the basics.

You ever wondered why creative people are creative and have so many ideas? I think it’s because they don’t put themselves in a box or limit themselves. They also like to look at things from different angles. Don’t you have to think of many Possibilities to have a solution to your problem?

I think one of the most toxic or worst things is to be in an environment or to be surrounded by narrow-minded people. They never think that there might be so much more to something than what is on the surface. They will always project their thought and beliefs onto you, sometimes forcing you. They don’t accept your ideas and dismiss them. They most likely won't support you if you decide to do something that doesn’t agree with or align with what they believe. It is impossible to explain or show them a different angle especially if they don’t want to.

This is the song that comes to mind when I think about this.

We all deserve to be able to speak our minds and do what we want < don’t really break the law tho ; ) >

Society’s beauty Standards – People turning looks into trends is not okay. We can’t all have ” ideal” body types. Maybe some people like the way how they look but then someone goes and comments on let’s say their lips, the person didn’t see anything wrong with their lips < and there is nothing wrong with their lips> until someone pointed it out now it has become an insecurity.

These days people are so obsessed with what they look like, as well as what other people look like. There is nothing wrong with your big nose, small lips, small breast, hairline. We are all made differently and instead of bringing down others, we should uplift them. Stop saying people are ugly because they don’t look like what you consider beautiful. And then when you’re insecure about something on your own self you try to point out something YOU think is wrong with somebody else. < that’s not nice and it doesn’t make you look any better so stop doing it >

My point is to stop letting other people dictate your life. You only live once, so you might as well stop being afraid of what people will think and do what you want. Also, can we dissolve everything society tells us? Let’s stop letting people think for us and do it ourselves.
