The Gender Norms that piss me off
Boys can't be allowed to grow their hair
Females should be hairless / Body hair is masculine
Gay men are supposed to be girly and not "masculine"
Pink is for girls
Women should know how to cook
Women should be modest
Men should not cry
Women are emotional
Dresses and skirts are for women
Men shouldn't wear nail polish or wear nails
Men shouldn't wear makeup
Men should have abs and be super muscular
Women should not wear pants suit
Women should be prim and proper
Women are weak and should nitnot be in the army or police force
Women should have long hair
Blond women are dumb
Men are the breadwinners or "head" of the family
Women should be submissive
The mom getting the blame when a kid is bad instead of both the mom and dad
Boys should not play with dolls and girl's shouldn't play with cars
WHAT IS A GENDER NORM?
^According to Wikipedia, a gender role ( gender norm), also known as a sex role, is a social role encompassing a range of behaviours and attitudes that are generally considered acceptable, appropriate, or desirable for a person based on that person's biological or perceived sex.

^This shows that we're just always making up stuff and changing things to fit different narratives. People should be able to wear whatever they want like why do we have to make things more complicated than it has to be.
