CHAPTER 3
Max Niyan
We arrived at SN’s model agency 30 minutes later. “ Hello miss, We are with the FBI, I’m Max Niyan and he is Agent Blackwell,” I said to the lady at the front desk. “ We are investigating the case of Miss Elena Walker, and we would like to talk to Caroline Montana,” Agent Blackwell spoke. “ Hello, and sure, I will walk you to her office,” she says standing up.
Soon we were standing in front of her office door and the lady from the front desk excused herself. “ Good afternoon Miss Montana,” I said. She then gestured for us to sit and said a quick greeting. “ We’re sorry for your loss, we would like to ask you some questions,” I spoke. “Did miss Walker inform you about her plans for the day when she went missing? I asked. “Hmmm, yes, She said she was going to meet a woman by the name of Jani Vinzen at the La La Lady Cafe,” she spoke. “ Do you know anyone of the name of Carmely, and if you know her full name could you please say so? Agent Blackwell asked.
“Carmely Micheals, she is a mutual close friend to both of us, and she’s an actress,” she answered. “ What can you tell us about the relationship between Miss Walker and her boyfriend?” Agent Blackwell asked. “ He wasn’t abusive or anything like that but Elena was suspicious about him cheating, she had found messages but she didn’t know who was the woman involved,” she says
“ Did she confront him about it,” I asked. “No, but she was planning on it,” she answered. “ Okay, thank you for your time, if we have any more questions we will contact you,” I told her. “Goodbye,” she says as we leave her office. “Do you think the woman the boyfriend was cheating with had a part to play in the murder?” Agent Blackwell asked me. “ She could, but we’ll see, when we find out who she is and questions her,” I answered him.
“Should we call Maria and tell her what we found and then go question the boyfriend?” He asks while getting in the car. I called her by her first name so I’m guessing they’re close. “ Sure, you do that and I’ll drive,” I say. And he does exactly that, Agent Channing also got us the address of Mason Reid, both home and work.
We pulled up to his workplace, assuming that he wouldn’t be home at this time. “Hello, we are from the FBI, and we’re here to talk to Mr. Mason Reid? I said. “ Do you mind showing us his office?” Agent Blackwell asked. “Good afternoon and yes, follow me please,” she says.
Maria Garcia
Based on the phone call I had with Marcus earlier we decided to look into the boyfriend, Mason Reid. We got a warrant to access his calls and messages. And apart from His now dead girlfriend, Miss Walker, there appears to be a woman that he contacts often. Sharing quite inappropriate conversations considering he was in a relationship.
We then discover that the number belongs to the victim’s friend Carmely Micheals. So the victim was right with the fact that the boyfriend is cheating and what is even more terrible is the fact that the woman he was cheating with was a friend of the victim. This is the motive, either one of them could have killed her or they did it together, so that they could be together. They are now top suspects in this case until there is more information.
