“I knew you two would get together,” you say lowly as he turned the lights on. Your ex froze in shock when he saw that you are in his house.
“Y/n, what are you doing in my house?” he asks staring at you. You ignored his question and fold your legs getting more comfortable on his couch.
“Always love me ehh,” you said mocking him. Those were the words he said to you up to a couple of weeks ago. Love is bull shit anyways and you weren’t surprised one bit.
“I did nothing, you broke up with me,” he said defensively as he crosses his arms. You smirked, “Oh darling, I know,” you said coldly.
“Why are you even here?” he asked. “Ya know, I was hoping you would prove what I was telling myself wrong,” I say, ignoring his question again.
“Oh yeah, and what was that?” he asks.
“That what we had was not love,” I say. His face fell at my words. “Of course I loved you,” he said. You laughed dryly at his statement
“What is love then?” you asked staring at him. He stayed quiet. “That’s what I thought,” you say, your face void of emotions.
You got up and walked out of his house not wanting to see him anymore. You didn’t cry, you were just a bit disappointed, which was nothing new.
You got on your bike and rode off leaving the dirt to stir up behind you.
